Channel Modules
NOVONIX UHPC systems use specifically designed channel modules that address a wide range of current measurements, providing the reliable, high precision, and rapid data analysis. When used with a properly controlled temperature, these systems can measure Coulombic Efficiency with better precision than any other system on the market.
NOVONIX UHPC systems can be used for formation, DCIR, HPPC, calendar ageing, cycle aging, rate testing. Compared to any other cyclers in the market, NOVONIX UHPC provides improved data quality due to its high precision current sensing resistors that brings in Current Resolution of <20 ppm and Voltage resolution of 1 μV or better. The devices are turnkey, modular systems that come in fully racked configuration and ready to use as delivered.

Ultra High Precision Coulometry System (UHPC)
When developing and testing products with rechargeable batteries, an efficient workflow is essential. Development teams need to focus on completing projects as quickly as possible to meet the demand for materials and technologies that meet the needs of the current market. The Ultra High Precision Coulometry (UHPC) system, which was largely developed by Professor Jeff Dahn of Dalhousie University in Halifax, is currently the only system available worldwide that can analyze electrochemical processes, such as battery charging and discharging, with extremely high accuracy and speed.
Faster project development due to extreme time savings thanks to UHPC
In 2013, Dr. Chris Burns of NOVONIX decided to bring these state-of-the-art battery testing solutions to the market and support the growth of the lithium-ion battery ecosystem. Research results that would have taken several months with conventional testing methods are available in a matter of days with UHPC. The enormous time savings mean that development projects are accelerated and can therefore be completed in the shortest possible time. The current range of UHPC systems currently offers current ranges from 100 µA to 20 A, enabling precision measurements of up to 2 nA.
NOVONIX systems are used with high data quality in the following areas
