PXI combines the electrical PCI bus features with the modular Eurocard packaging of CompactPCI and then adds special synchronisation buses and important software functions. PXI was developed in 1997 and launched in 1998. It is an open industry standard managed by the PXI Systems Alliance (PXISA), a group of more than 70 companies whose mission is to promote the PXI standard, ensure interoperability and maintain the PXI specification in their mechanical, electrical and software architectures.
LXinstruments GmbH was founded in 2006 as a solution provider for all issues relating to instruments and systems in electronic measurement technology. Our systems are mainly based on the LXI standard (Lan based Extensions for Instrumentation), an open industry standard.
