The leakage current tester GLC-9000
The GLC-9000 leakage current tester is used to perform leakage current tests (or touch current tests) on medical electrical (IEC 60601-1) and general electrical and electronic (IEC 60990) equipment. This tester uses nine measuring networks (or meters) to simulate the human body while the equipment to be tested performs a leakage current test according to specific standards or regulations such as IEC, UL, JIS, etc. To create a simple operating environment, the GLC-9000 is equipped with a large TFT LCD touch panel that configures the system and displays the measurement settings and results simultaneously. In addition, there are 50 preset test conditions that comply with IEC60990 and other standards for general electrical equipment that can be recalled to reduce setup time. In addition, 30 sets of empty memory are defined for users.
A meter mode is also available for the GLC-9000, it uses the measuring terminal (T1/T2) to measure the voltage as the same way of normal voltmeter. During the voltage measurement, the SELV (safety extra low voltage) function is applicable to detect the voltage value between the measuring points whether it exceeds the SELV setting.
