Regenerative Grid Simulator

The PAS-F series is designed for renewable energy applications. The series is a programmable four-quadrant AC high power source with energy recovery function. The 3-phase device not only supplies power to the device under test, but also feeds power back to the grid system. The maximum output power is up to 1000 kVA. The output voltage is max. 300 V with a variable output frequency from 45 Hz to 65 Hz (optional 40 Hz to 70 Hz). The function for free adjustment of the phases (Three Phase Independent Adjustment) and the phase angle (Phase Angle Adjustment) can be used to simulate a three-phase unbalance. The series thus complies with the IEC61000-4-34 standard, and the integrated HVRT/LVRT (High Voltage Ride Through/Low Voltage Ride Through) function can be used to simulate overvoltage, voltage spikes, voltage dips, as well as undervoltage, and so on. Due to the large number of further programmable anomalies of a power supply network, the series is ideally suited for use as a general-purpose network simulator.

- PAS-F has built-in HVRT/LVRT (High Voltage Ride Through/Low Voltage Ride Through) functions to simulate various power system conditions in compliance with test standards e.g. UL1741, IEEE 1547, BDEW and CEI0-16 etc.
