The VITREK 98X series tera ohmmeters and insulation resistance testers are designed for demanding applications in the field of high resistance measurement. They are suitable for resistance measurements at higher voltages, e.g. in electric vehicle systems or solar installations. The DSP technology ensures precise and fast test results with maximum safety. The devices impress with their unique combination of performance and wide range of functions.

• 981i: 30 V up to 6,5 kV DC
• 983i: 60 V up to 11 kV DC
• High resistance measuring range up to 150 teraohm (TΩ)
• Internal memory for up to 100 test sequences with 254 test steps each
• Digital I/O interface for 4 digital inputs and 5 digital outputs, e.g. for start/stop, testing, pass/fail, safety interlock, etc.
• VICL interface for controlling HV scanners
• Interfaces: Ethernet, RS232, Digital I/O, optional GPIB
• Automatic calibration of offset errors caused e.g. by lead resistance, capacitive influences or leakage
