RF Test Systems
Our turnkey systems offer a holistic solution, including DUT adaptation, RF signal connection and cutting-edge instrumentation by the market leaders for RF measurement technology, Keysight Technologies and Rohde & Schwartz. Developing a suitable calibration concept is another integral task in our scope of work.
The LXinstruments drawer adapters support functional assembly testing, including coupling and decoupling of RF signals via aerials in the test adapter. We employ cutting-edge absorber technologies in combination with optimized test cell geometries in order to minimize reflections and standing waves. Our drawer adapters offer unrivalled outbound shielding attenuations of more than 60dB at frequencies of up to 3 GHz.
Our RF multiport test sets, RF multiplexers and RF matrices are based on RF Multiport Switches by Keysight Technologies. They feature a modular internal design to support optimum application adaptation, as well as economic implementations. The switches we employ are specified with a repeatability of 0.03dB for more than 5 million switching cycles.
The internal wiring is based on semi-rigid and hand-formable RF cables, which ensure good reproducibility of transmission properties on the individual signal paths. It is thereby possible to calibrate the individual path and to offset the stored calibration with the measurement signal during the subsequent measurement. The RF switching systems can be easily programmed with SCPI commands, either via Ethernet or via GPIB.
At LXinstruments, we employ state of the art vector network analyzers with frequencies of up to 26,5GHz in order to verify and characterize the RF switching systems we implement.
