The GW Instek GKT-008 magnetic field probes have a high sensitivity to quickly analyse an electromagnetic interference source. When used with the standard preamplifier function, the sensitivity of the EMI probe can be significantly increased to distinguish subtle disturbances. Typically, the design of near-field ring probes means that the measurement results vary greatly when the probes are used in a horizontal or vertical orientation. This often leads to a misdiagnosis of a disorder, thus negating any remedial action. The special construction of the GW Instek GKT-008 is designed to reduce the differences between vertical and horizontal measurements so that noise can be measured accurately and effectively.
