LXinstruments HVEx00 Series: High-Voltage Testing in Development and Series Production
The LXinstruments HVEx00 Series protects operators during high-voltage and insulation testing of devices, assemblies, and components.
The high-voltage test hood rated up to 10 kV forms an enclosed test cage that protects the DUT and its electrical connections against accidental contact during testing. The test hoods can be easily integrated into manual or computer-controlled test stations for development, quality assurance, and series production.
Safety and Hood Mechanism
The transparent, illuminated hood keeps the DUT and its electrical connections clearly visible throughout the test. A safety switch detects whether the hood is closed and enables the high voltage only when the hood is fully closed. Gas springs and ball-bearing hinges make opening and closing easier, especially when DUTs are changed frequently.
Changeover Kit for Different DUT Fixtures
Models with interchangeable fixtures allow adapter plates for different DUTs and electrical connections to be replaced quickly. The space beneath each fixture provides room for cables, connectors, and interfaces. Models without a changeover kit are designed for permanently configured test stations.
Selection by Test-Space Size and Adapter Concept
The HVEx00 Series is available in two sizes. The appropriate high-voltage test hood depends on the size, number, and arrangement of the DUTs, as well as the required fixture or changeover system.
