OrigaTrod Kit - Rotating Disk Electrode (RDE)
For reliable and precise kinetic measurements
A rotating disk electrode (RDE) is an instrument developed for electrochemistry, with which above all precise kinetic measurements (e.g. mass transport) are possible. The RDE from OrigaLys is controlled by the OrigaBox Speed Controller and has rotation speeds from 100 to 10,000 rpm. Because the RDE has a ground joint (NS 14.5/23), it fits into most electrochemical cells with a ground joint. Contact with the PC is made via a BNC connection. However, other connections can also be used with the aid of an adapter.
The OrigaTrod kit is delivered in a practical plastic case so that everything can be transported and stored safely. The associated OrigaTips have a PEEK coating and can be replaced by simply unscrewing them. The active disk surface has a diameter of 2 mm, 3 mm or 5 mm and is available in different materials. (However, the tips are not included in the scope of delivery!) The RDE is also compatible with tips from Radiometer.
