Safety Tester for High-Voltage, Insulation, and Ground Bond Testing
Kikusui TOS9300 Series: Electrical Safety Testing in Development, Quality Assurance, and Production
The Kikusui TOS9300 Series tests electrical devices and assemblies for dielectric withstand and insulation resistance. Depending on the model, additional functions include DC withstand voltage testing, ground bond resistance testing, leakage current measurement, or partial discharge testing.
AC and DC Withstand Voltage Testing up to 10 kV
The standard models of the Kikusui TOS9300 Series perform AC withstand voltage testing at up to 5 kV and 100 mA. The TOS9311 reaches 10 kV AC at 50 mA and up to 10 kV DC.
Operation and Test Sequences
The 7-inch color display shows test parameters and sequence diagrams. Test values and sequences can be entered directly on the instrument and stored for repeated testing. The appropriate model depends on the required test voltage, protection class, and test procedures.
Integration into Computer-Controlled Test Stations
LAN, USB, and RS232C interfaces connect the instruments to PC-based test stations. Recurring test sequences can be run automatically. For multi-pole DUTs, the series can be expanded with the TOS9320 high-voltage scanner.
Alternative Products
For recurring AC/DC dielectric withstand, insulation resistance, and ground bond testing in production, consider the Associated Research HypotULTRA 78xx Series. If leakage current and functional run tests must be included in the same test process, the Associated Research OMNIA II 82xx Series is a suitable alternative.
