BASi MR Series: PTFE Lids for Electrochemical Cells
The lids of the BASi MR-Series are made of PTFE and designed for different electrochemical cells and cell configurations. Depending on the version, they are suitable for standard cells, low-volume cells, and special cell configurations and can be used as replacement or exchange lids for existing BASi electrochemical cells.
Versions for Different Cell Types
The available versions differ primarily in their compatibility with the respective cell vessels. Variants are available for the MF-1083, MF-1205, MF-1208, MR-1210, and MR-1212 cell vessels as well as for the MR-1194 and MR-1195 bulk electrolysis cells. This allows the lid to be selected according to the cell type and measurement setup used.
Cell Configuration and Mounting
BASi offers different cell lids for applications including the C-3 Cell Stand, CGME, RDE-2, low-volume cells, and bulk electrolysis cells. For versions designed for glass vessels, the lid is intended to be securely held in the corresponding BASi cell holder or cell stand.

Do you need a complete measuring cell for volumes of 25–75 ml instead of a single PTFE lid? We recommend the MF-1051/MF-1054 electrochemical standard cell kit with a three-electrode configuration and matching PTFE lid. If you work with small electrolyte volumes, the MF-2145 is a suitable alternative: The fully equipped, temperature-controlled cell is designed for volumes from 2–15 ml.
