Battery Tester and Temperature-Controlled Test Chamber in One Device
The NEWARE WHW-25L+15C-5V100mA-32CH is designed for battery tests on coin cells and small-format cells. In one compact benchtop unit, it combines 32 test channels with a temperature-controlled 25-liter test chamber.
Charge, discharge, and cycling tests run directly in the device at a defined test temperature. Test engineers work with an integrated system instead of a separately installed battery tester and an external temperature chamber. This saves space at the lab bench, reduces interfaces in the test setup, and simplifies the start of test series.
With 5 V, up to 100 mA per channel, and a temperature range from 15 °C to 60 °C, the device is particularly suitable for cell tests in the mA range, such as coin cell testing, material comparisons, and early development series.

Charge and Discharge Tests with Temperature Control
In small battery cells, the test temperature affects the voltage level, internal resistance, and capacity behavior, among other parameters. For this reason, the WHW-25L+15C-5V100mA-32CH controls the temperature program and charge/discharge profile together via a host computer.
The device heats from 25 °C to 60 °C in ≤ 50 minutes and cools from 25 °C to 15 °C in ≤ 60 minutes. This keeps repeated test sequences and several consecutive tests easy to plan.
Test 32 DUTs in Parallel
Each of the 32 channels can operate with its own test profile. At the same time, all DUTs in the shared test chamber run through the same temperature profile. This allows users to test up to 32 battery cells in parallel and compare different electrode materials, cell variants, or cell batches under identical temperature conditions. Especially in material comparisons, this setup reduces influences from separate test benches and creates a reliable basis for reproducible results. The current and voltage accuracy of ±0.05 % F.S. and the sampling time of 100 ms provide the appropriate measurement basis.
