Neware Battery testers are reliable
- Cyclizer
- Analyzers
- Test devices for battery cells, battery modules, battery packs and supercapacitors
in high quality at fair prices.
All common test procedures can be carried out at cell, module and pack level. Due to the attractive price, systems with several channels can also be realized attractively.
The available system power ratings are 1000 V, 1000 A and 1000 kW.
A particular highlight is the new "ALL-IN-ONE" constant climate chamber.
This solution provides a consistent environment for stable and accurate long-term battery testing. This low-noise, space-saving and environmentally friendly test chamber is integrated with the Neware battery test system in the device, minimizing hardware connectivity and optimizing work efficiency through an easy-to-use control system.
Novonix is a Canadian manufacturer of measuring systems. The high-precision test systems are primarily used in research and development. The tests are carried out at cell level and deliver exact results at the highest level. Typical applications are, for example, cell selection in the quality control of incoming cells or cell material performance tests.
Professor Jeff Dahn from Dalhousie University, one of the world's recognized battery pioneers, developed the "Novonix High-Precision Coulometry".

High-voltage test cover/test cage
In order to comply with the EN50191 standard, LXinstruments develops HV test covers for the standard-compliant design of safe workstations. The test covers prevent a test object from being touched while dangerous voltages are present. If the respective test cover is nevertheless opened, the voltage is automatically interrupted..
Die Norm EN50191 („Einrichten und Betreiben elektrischer Prüfanlagen“) beschreibt die Anforderungen an die Arbeitsplatzgestaltung für Prüfplätze, an denen mit gefährlichen Spannungen gearbeitet wird.
Decisive for the relevance of the standard are:
- Voltages >60V DC or >25V AC
- Currents over 3mA AC bzw. 12mA DC
- Stored electrical energy >350mJ
Expansion LXinstruments-test covers:
- Sturdy, highly insulating plastic with hinged, transparent lid
- Built-in safety switch to lock the hood and release the high-voltage sources
- Generously dimensioned wiring compartment in the floor
- Prepared openings for easy attachment of connectors and other interfaces or cable feed-throughs
- Powerless opening and closing thanks to coordinated gas springs
- Ball bearing designed for high cycle rates
- Sizes 600mm and 900mm available
AN EXCHANGEABLE ADAPTER PLATE IN THE TEST CELL - OPTIONALLY WITH EXCHANGEABLE INTERFACE OR EXCHANGEABLE ADAPTER CASSETTE - ALLOWS QUICK ADAPTATION TO A WIDE VARIETY OF TEST SPECIMEN TYPES!

Protective conductor testers / PE testers
The aim of the protective conductor test is to verify the earthing of test objects in protection class 1.
These devices have an electrical connection between housing parts and/or internal components and the earth conductor (PE) of the mains connection. It is tested for low resistance and current carrying capacity.
Depending on the applicable standard, a PE test, also known as a ground continuity check, can be carried out in which a defined current (typically in the range of <1A) is impressed and the contact resistance is measured.
The “ground bond test” places higher demands on the protective conductor tests. Here, the earth connection is subjected to a current that is greater than the largest current that can flow in the event of a device fault. Currents of 30-40A are often used, in exceptional cases up to 60A are required. The test object is energized over a defined period of time (dwell time), the time is calculated in such a way that the earth connection can be destroyed by the current if the earthing is insufficient and the contact resistance increases accordingly.

High voltage testers
We offer a wide range of high-voltage testers, which are described here together with the actual high-voltage test.
The high voltage test, also known as
- Hipot Test
- HV Audit or
- Dielectric Withstand Test,
is an AC or DC high voltage applied to an insulation barrier in the test object and the flowing leakage current is measured. If the insulation barrier breaks down, a large current suddenly flows, which is only limited by the high-voltage tester. The HV testers we sell switch off at an adjustable limit value in the event of a breakdown.
The current that the high-voltage tester can supply can be particularly important in the case of AC high-voltage testing. When recharging the filter capacitors in the power supply unit of the device under test, a certain leakage current always flows, which must be supplied by the test device in order to achieve the set test voltage. Some standards require devices that can supply up to 500VA.
We have high-performance products in our Shop.
Multifunctional safety tester
LXinstruments has many multifunction safety testers and AC sources on offer. There is a wide variety of devices.
Leakage current tests are carried out during normal operation of the device under test, often with an increased operating voltage. The current flowing via the operator or the protective conductor is measured under various fault conditions and must not exceed the limits specified in the relevant standard. The following fault conditions are tested in all possible combinations:
- Normal operation/functional tests
- Disconnected connection to the protective conductor
- Disconnected connection to the N conductor
- Interchange of N and L
In the field of medical electronics, leakage currents via patient connections (e.g. ECG electrodes) and leakage currents between two devices connected to the patient (Mains on Applied Parts) are also verified.
