The arbitrary function generators of the GW Instek AFG-3000 series are designed for development laboratories, production and training.
They generate standard and user-defined signal waveforms and support functional testing, compliance testing, EMC pre-compliance and quality assurance. In test benches with HiPot testers and electrical safety systems they provide reproducible test signals for insulation tests and other high voltage tests.

The AFG-3000 series combines built-in standard waveforms with powerful arbitrary functions. The Direct Waveform Reconstruction function allows recorded waveforms from compatible GW Instek oscilloscopes to be transferred directly.
A clear colour display with context-related support simplifies operation, even in complex measurement setups.
Integration into automated test systems
Using standard interfaces and common command sets, the AFG-3000 series can be integrated seamlessly into automated test environments, from laboratory setups to end-of-line test stands. In high voltage test systems, the arbitrary function generator acts as a flexible signal source for a wide range of HiPot testers and safety systems.
