Preen AFV⁺Series
High Power Programmable AC Power Source
1-phase or 3-phase, output voltage 310 V, output current up to 5555.6 A

The AFV⁺ series is a powerful AC source that uses advanced PWM (pulse width modulation) technology to deliver power up to 2000 kVA. The output frequency ranges from 45 Hz and optionally up to 840 Hz with an accuracy of ± 0.02%.

The series features programmable STEP and RAMP functions for easy simulation of single or continuous output changes. RS-232, RS-485 and Ethernet interfaces are included as standard for remote control. Optional GPIB and analog interfaces provide easy setup and programming.

All units feature a 7" touch screen for intuitive and easy-to-use control and display. Users can quickly access output settings and measurements, such as voltage, current, frequency, real power, apparent power, etc. Complex sequences and system configurations can also be easily performed via the touch screen.

Wide output power range: 10 kVA to 2000 kVA
Output voltage: 0 to 310V (optionally expandable to 400 V or 600 V)
Built-in STEP and RAMP functions are ideal for simulating various power system disturbances
Three Phase Independent Adjustment for simulation of unbalanced phase, voltage fluctuations and interruptions according to IEC61000-4-34
Reduction of inrush current by SOFT START function, e.g. for motor start-up
With the optional phase angle control function, the user can simulate a phase shift
Display of voltage, current, frequency, real power, apparent power and sum of parameters of each phase
CE & RoHS certified
RS232 / RS485 / Ethernet-Interface (standard)
GPIB / Analog Control Interface (optional)
