AC Leakage Current Tester and Safety Tester for Leakage Current and Functional Run Tests (LCT/RUN)
Associated Research LINECHECK® 620L: Standards-Based Safety Testing for Electrical Devices
The Associated Research LINECHEK® 620L safety tester is a professional safety measuring instrument for standards-based safety tests and electrical safety testing of electrical devices – especially in medical technology, where leakage current tests and CE-compliant documentation are required. It supports clear measurement and test workflows and simplifies audit-ready documentation according to the standards and requirements for electrical products.
To make everyday test sequences faster, more reproducible and safer, the 620L combines dedicated productivity features such as “Prompt and Hold”, “GFI Circuit”, “Expanded Memory”, “PLC Remote”, “Built-in Measuring Devices (MDs)”, “RMS and Peak Readings”, “40A Continuous Current Capability” and “Active Link®”.
Efficient Testing and Measurement
The integrated test technology combines several test instruments and multimeter functions in one system. Intelligent switching logic simulates relevant fault conditions, helping you identify weaknesses early in the test process and verify the performance of your electrical devices with consistent test and measurement results.
Automation and Interfaces
Flexible interfaces enable integration into lab and production environments. For efficient multi-point testing, the Associated Research LINECHEK® 620L can be connected to a modular multiplexer, such as the SC6540. The system can also be combined with an OMNIA® II instrument to create a complete, standards-oriented test setup for electrical safety testing and compliance tests. It includes functions for data handling and information evaluation, including memory, remote control and link features – ideal for companies with strict compliance requirements.
Safe Operation
Mechanisms such as interlock, access protection and additional safeguarding within the test sequence increase operational safety and support clean electrical engineering practice – suitable for electrical installations and electrical machines.
Alternative Products
The GW Instek GLC-9000 is the suitable alternative when leakage current measurement itself is the main focus. It is designed for test tasks where leakage current, touch current or protective conductor current must be evaluated according to defined test procedures.
The Associated Research OMNIA II 82xx Series is suitable when further electrical safety tests such as dielectric withstand and insulation resistance are to follow the leakage current test in the same test sequence. If multiple test points need to be switched automatically one after another, the Associated Research SC6540 Multiplexer/Scanner expands the test station.
