Modular Multiplexer (Scanner/Matrix), up to 16 High-Voltage (HV) Channels (2U), 10 Configurations for Multi-Point HiPot Testing

Modular Multiplexer/Scanner for Safety Testing
The Associated Research SC6540 is a patented switching matrix (multiplexer/scanner) for automating electrical safety tests such as HiPot testing.
The multiplexer consolidates multiple test points and intelligently switches high voltage and high current to HiPot, Ground Bond, Insulation Resistance, and Leakage Current—ideal for lab, incoming inspection, and production/end-of-line.
As a multiplexer circuit, it operates in systems with defined input and output, transfers signals reliably, and supports applications where data is captured securely. This architecture delivers scalable solutions for electrical safety.

Productivity & Throughput
Channel-by-channel switching runs multi-point test sequences without manual re-plugging. This reduces setup time, increases repeatability, and boosts throughput in production testing. You use the multiplexer function efficiently within the switching matrix and speed up software-based evaluation.

Flexible Integration
Available as a Main unit with control and interfaces and as a Secondary unit for channel expansion. Secondary units switch in sync with the SC6540 Main unit—so you scale multi-point safety testing without rework.
Each multiplexer module fits into existing matrix-scanner topologies and supports accessory integration within a data acquisition system.

Future-Proof & Standards-Oriented
The configurable channel architecture and compact form factor make the SC6540 switching matrix a scalable solution for multi-point safety testing—CE listed and proven in typical system environments. The switching-matrix design follows relevant standards and increases protection for operators and test equipment.
