Product information "Modular Scanning Matrix| SC6541"
SC6540 – Modular Multiplexer (Scanner / Matrix)
up to 16 HV channels (2U),
10 configurations for multi-point hipot,
ground bond, insulation resistance and leakage current
Modular multiplexer/scanner for safety testing
The Associated Research SC6540 is a patented switch matrix (multiplexer/scanner) for automating electrical safety tests.
It aggregates multiple test points and intelligently routes high voltage or high current to hipot, ground bond, insulation resistance, and leakage current—ideal for labs, incoming inspection, and production/end-of-line.
As a multiplexer circuit, it operates in systems with defined input and output, reliably transfers signals, and supports applications where data must be captured securely. This architecture provides scalable solutions for electrical safety
Productivity & throughput
Channel-by-channel switching enables multi-point test sequences without manual replugging. This cuts setup time, increases reproducibility, and boosts throughput in series testing. The multiplexer function is used efficiently, and software-assisted evaluation is accelerated.
Flexible integration
Available as a main unit with control and interfaces, and as an expansion unit for channel scaling. Expansion units are switched in sync by the main unit—allowing multi-point safety tests to scale without rewiring.
Each multiplexer module fits into existing scanner topologies and allows the integration of accessories within a data acquisition system.
Future-proof & standards-driven
The configurable channel architecture and compact form factor make the SC6540 a scalable solution for multi-point safety testing—CE listed and proven in typical system environments. The design follows relevant standards and increases the protection of operators and equipment.
