Kewell D2000-EV: DC Power for Battery Testing and Power Electronics
Whether testing batteries, DC/DC converters, or other power electronic components, the Kewell D2000-EV Series provides programmable DC voltage and current with bidirectional power flow. Absorbed energy is fed back into the utility grid instead of being entirely dissipated as heat. This allows different operating conditions to be tested under controlled conditions.
For dynamic testing, the series combines high DC power with rapid voltage and current changes. SiC power semiconductors enable high power density and efficient operation. Depending on the model, power ratings of up to 600 kW and output currents of up to 1,200 A are available. The NG, PG, and Ultra versions differ in measurement accuracy, dynamic performance, and features. While all versions support battery simulation, PG and Ultra also provide a regenerative electronic DC load.

If your DC testing requires a higher voltage range, the Kewell D2000-IV Series offers up to 2,000 V with power ratings of up to 600 kW. For lower-power testing applications from 15 to 30 kW, the Kewell S7200 Series provides a bidirectional DC power supply with a regenerative electronic load.
