LXI Measurement Acquisition (DAQ) for Synchronized Measurement Data

VTI EX1400: Short Signal Paths for Precise Measurement Data

The VTI EX1400 Series brings 16-channel data acquisition closer to the sensor, DUT, and measurement point. This shortens analog signal paths and reduces interference. The digitized measurement data is streamed via Ethernet, time-synchronized via IEEE-1588-v2 PTP, and integrated into predefined measurement sequences using triggers.

EX1401: Capture Thermocouples and Low Voltage

The EX1401 is designed for thermocouples and isolated voltage signals up to ±10 V. It measures differentially, with a dedicated 24-bit A/D converter per channel and channel-specific cold junction compensation for thermocouple measurements. This makes it suitable for temperature profiles and low-voltage measurements close to the DUT.

EX1402: Isolated High-Voltage Data Acquisition

The EX1402 measures galvanically isolated voltages up to ±420 V peak. Via differential inputs, it covers the ranges ±1 V, ±10 V, and ±420 V peak at up to 128 kSa/s per channel. It measures voltage, but does not generate test voltage and does not replace a hipot tester.

EX1403A: Capture Strain Gauge, Bridge, and RTD Signals

The EX1403A is designed for strain gauges, measurement bridges, RTD, resistance, and voltage signals. Bridge excitation, bridge completion, shunt calibration, and TEDS support structural testing and sensor validation. It is not intended for galvanically isolated high-voltage measurements.

LXI-DAQ for Recording and Integration Into Test Systems

The VTI EX1400 Series can record measurement sequences, but it is designed for more than simply storing measurement data. Unlike a classic data logger, it is an LXI-DAQ system for automated test systems. Measurement data is not only stored, but is also available for control, analysis, and further test sequences.
