Product Information "Precision Multichannel Data Logger | EX1000A Series"
VTI EX1000A Series
Precision Multichannel Thermocouple and Voltage Date Logger
with up to 48 Input Channels
Accurate. Powerful. Intuitive.
The Data Logger of the VTI EX1000 Series targets demanding measurement applications where data is centrally acquired and made available over Ethernet/LAN. For high accuracy, it combines integrated signal conditioning with thermocouple functions such as Cold Junction Compensation (CJC, model-dependent) and programmable End-to-End Self-Calibration (End-to-End Self-Calibration). The turnkey software EXlab enables fast setup as well as convenient logging and visualization.
Flexibility at Channel Level
The Data Logger of the EX1000 Series supports a wide range of sensors for pressure, strain, temperature, position, and voltage. Depending on the model and signal type, the signal paths are handled via suitable inputs and conditioning stages. Each channel uses its own filters and signal processing, configurable via software for maximum data quality and reliable results, even during input transients.
Calibration with A System
Programmable End-to-End Self-Calibration stabilizes the entire signal path. The system injects reference signals ahead of the analog filter and gain stages. This compensates drift (slow measurement-value shift), aging, and temperature changes. Self-calibration is simple and quick and can be repeated as often as required.
Scale with Confidence
An integrated Trigger Bus™ synchronizes multiple instruments in real time. Existing VXIbus modules also integrate smoothly. This lets you scale your data acquisition system for the future without reworking existing setups.
Safety Through Detection
Open Transducer Detection (OTD) can be enabled per channel and provides continuous status indication. The mechanism integrated into the signal conditioning detects open circuits caused by broken or intermittent transducers and applies a nominal bias current of ± 7.5 nA per channel.
