Functions such as precise charging, regenerative energy feedback, and the generation of complex signals, waveforms, and user-defined profiles allow realistic test sequences with reproducible output performance. Powerful software for automation and documentation complements the system. Optional interfaces such as GPIB provide additional integration options.

Targeted Application Focus of the Model Variants

The NG models are designed as universal bidirectional source/load units and are particularly suitable for testing applications in photovoltaics, electromobility, and power electronics, as well as for laboratory and test field use.
The PG models extend this functional scope with specialized battery test functions and suitable options that enable detailed energy storage characterization, for example through simulations using the “Automotive Power Curve” function. Applications in power grids and energy storage systems can also be implemented in a targeted manner.
