High-Power Testing With 42 kW in 3U
The ITECH IT6600C Series is a bidirectional programmable DC power supply with an integrated electronic DC load for demanding high-power testing. Each unit provides up to 42 kW in 3U. This makes the series suitable for space-saving DC test systems in development, validation and production.
High-Power DC Power Supply for Demanding Test Applications
As a DC source, the IT6600C Series supplies DUTs with high power and precisely adjustable voltage and current ranges. Typical applications include battery testing, energy storage systems, automotive components, power electronics, PV inverters and industrial DC test benches. The high power density reduces cabinet space requirements and can lower system costs in the test setup.
Two DC Channels for Flexible Test Configurations
Two independently controllable DC output channels enable parallel test sequences within one unit. Each channel operates independently or can be configured in parallel or series connection according to the test requirements. This allows different voltage and current ranges to be implemented flexibly and multiple test profiles to be executed simultaneously.
Scalable Power Up to the Megawatt Range
For applications with very high power requirements, the IT6600C Series supports parallel connection of multiple units with identical specifications. This allows modular test systems with a total power of up to 10 MW. The concept is suitable for automated test systems, high-power test benches and scalable DC test environments.
Source/Sink Operation With Energy Recovery
In bidirectional operation, the IT6600C Series works either as a DC power supply or as a regenerative electronic DC load. Absorbed energy is fed back into the supply grid. This increases energy efficiency during endurance runs, charge and discharge cycles, and high-power testing.
Operation, Protection Functions and System Integration
A 5-inch touchscreen with graphical user interface supports fast parameterization and clear display of measured values. Comprehensive protection functions, system redundancy and communication interfaces simplify integration into automated test benches and shorten commissioning.
