Galvanically Isolated Differential Voltage Measurement for DAQ Systems and Test Benches
The Verivolt IsoBlock V-1c is a single-channel, galvanically isolated differential voltage transducer for DAQ systems, data loggers, and test benches. It scales high differential voltages to a differential output signal while providing galvanic isolation between the measurement circuit and the data acquisition system.
Verivolt IsoBlock V-1c: Measure Differential Voltages up to ±1,500 V
Depending on the version, bipolar input ranges from ±5 V to ±1,500 V as well as AC versions are available. Depending on the variant, the output is ±10 V, ±5 V, or 7 VAC and can be connected directly to differential inputs of DAQ systems.
Galvanic Isolation and High Common-Mode Rejection
The galvanic isolation between the primary and secondary sides is rated for continuous operation at ±1,500 V. The maximum common-mode transient voltage is 5,000 V for one minute; a common-mode rejection ratio of 112 dB at 60 Hz reduces interference.
100 kHz Bandwidth for Dynamic Signals
The standard version provides a bandwidth of 100 kHz; a custom 500 kHz version is available for higher dynamic requirements. An anti-aliasing filter conditions the signal for data acquisition.
For Test Benches and Power Electronics
DIN rail mounting and spring-clamp terminals simplify installation. Typical applications include inverter and drive test benches as well as voltage measurements on batteries, fuel cells, motors, and photovoltaic systems. Additional measurement transducers cover other channel counts and measurement ranges.
Alternative Products:
For voltage measurements requiring higher bandwidth and measurement ranges up to ±2,000 V, the Verivolt IsoBand V Series is suitable. If other measurement ranges and configuration options are required, the Verivolt IsoBlock V-4c Series is an alternative. For galvanically isolated voltage measurements in three-phase systems, the Verivolt IsoBlock V-3P Series is recommended.

Measure Voltage and Current Across Different Potentials
Verivolt develops voltage and current sensors as well as galvanically isolated transducers for measurement tasks in power electronics, test systems, and high-voltage applications. The portfolio includes single- and multi-channel measurement modules from the IsoBlock and IsoBand families for voltage, current, and differential voltage measurements.
IsoBlock and IsoBand for Different Measurement Tasks
Depending on the product family, measurement range, galvanic isolation, bandwidth, and output signal vary. Many IsoBlock and IsoBand modules are designed for DIN-rail mounting. Depending on the sensor, measurement ranges extend from low currents to high-current applications and from low differential voltages into the kilovolt range.
Integrate Measurement Signals into DAQ Systems and Test Setups
For connection to data acquisition systems (DAQ), digitizers, and other measurement equipment, many Verivolt transducers provide scaled analog output signals. Galvanically isolated channels support measurements at different ground and common-mode potentials and simplify the design of multi-channel measurement systems.
Applications in Power Electronics, Battery Systems, and High Voltage
Typical applications include battery and energy storage systems, fuel cells, EV charging systems, variable frequency drives, motors, photovoltaics, and power electronics. For specialized applications, Verivolt also offers the IsoBlock Q-4c, a galvanically isolated signal amplifier for quench detection in superconducting magnets.
