Galvanically Isolated Voltage Transducer
Verivolt IsoBand V Series: Galvanically Isolated Measurement of Fast Voltage Waveforms
The Verivolt IsoBand V Series is a galvanically isolated voltage transducer for DC signals, fast transients, PWM signals, and superimposed high-frequency components. With a bandwidth from DC to 8 MHz, it transfers voltage waveforms with a constant transfer ratio while galvanically isolating the measurement signal, power supply, and channels from each other. This allows DC components and fast signal changes to be captured within the same measurement chain.
Capture Fast Voltage Waveforms up to 8 MHz
The bandwidth from DC to 8 MHz makes fast signal changes visible without suppressing the DC component. This is particularly relevant for PWM signals and transient events when slow voltage changes and fast switching edges need to be observed simultaneously.
Minimize Loading of the Signal Source
The high input impedance reduces the impact on the signal source. The low output impedance allows direct connection to digitizers and oscilloscopes and supports longer measurement cables with low signal loss.
Galvanically Isolate Potential Differences
The triple galvanic isolation separates channels, signal paths, and the power supply. This prevents equalizing currents between different ground potentials and suppresses common-mode components.
Protect Measurement Instruments Against Voltage Spikes
During short-term overvoltage events, the IsoBand V Series limits the output signal through saturation before impermissible voltage levels can reach the measurement instruments.
Alternative Products
For galvanically isolated differential voltage measurements with lower bandwidth, the Verivolt IsoBlock V-1c Series is an alternative. If additional input ranges, AC versions, or customer-specific bandwidths are required, the Verivolt IsoBlock V-4c Series offers additional configuration options.

Verivolt Sensors and Measurement Solutions for Electrical Quantities
Measure Voltage and Current Across Different Potentials
Verivolt develops voltage and current sensors as well as galvanically isolated transducers for measurement tasks in power electronics, test systems, and high-voltage applications. The portfolio includes single- and multi-channel measurement modules from the IsoBlock and IsoBand families for voltage, current, and differential voltage measurements.
IsoBlock and IsoBand for Different Measurement Tasks
Depending on the product family, measurement range, galvanic isolation, bandwidth, and output signal vary. Many IsoBlock and IsoBand modules are designed for DIN-rail mounting. Depending on the sensor, measurement ranges extend from low currents to high-current applications and from low differential voltages into the kilovolt range.
Integrate Measurement Signals into DAQ Systems and Test Setups
For connection to data acquisition systems (DAQ), digitizers, and other measurement equipment, many Verivolt transducers provide scaled analog output signals. Galvanically isolated channels support measurements at different ground and common-mode potentials and simplify the design of multi-channel measurement systems.
Applications in Power Electronics, Battery Systems, and High Voltage
Typical applications include battery and energy storage systems, fuel cells, EV charging systems, variable frequency drives, motors, photovoltaics, and power electronics. For specialized applications, Verivolt also offers the IsoBlock Q-4c, a galvanically isolated signal amplifier for quench detection in superconducting magnets.
