ITECH IT8200: AC/DC Load for Reproducible Testing
The ITECH IT8200 Series is a programmable electronic AC/DC load for laboratories, development, and industrial test systems. It reproduces defined load profiles in DC and AC operation and precisely controls voltage, current, and load behavior.
With 15 kVA in 3U and 6 kVA in 1U/2U, it combines high power density with compact system integration. Accessories, compatible AC and DC sources, and system connectivity support automated test setups and reproducible AC/DC testing.
AC/DC Circuit Models and Regenerative Energy Feedback
The IT8200 simulates different load and circuit models, including single-phase rectifier RLC and parallel RLC circuits. This allows power sources, DC power supplies, and other AC/DC systems to be tested under defined load conditions and their behavior at changing operating points to be analyzed.
In regenerative operation, the electronic load feeds absorbed energy back into the utility grid during both AC and DC testing. This reduces energy consumption, heat generation, and cooling requirements and supports efficient testing of components and systems. In combination with existing power sources and DC power supplies, the load can be integrated into existing test environments.
