Programmable Triple-Output DC Power Supply for Electronics Testing
ITECH IT6300: Compact DC Power Supply for Multi-Channel Electronics Testing
The ITECH IT6300 Series is a compact programmable triple-output DC power supply for electronics development, education, service, and production testing. Three isolated DC outputs supply printed circuit boards, assemblies, power modules, and devices with multiple DC voltages at the same time. Depending on the variant, main channels with 30 V or 60 V and a 5 V auxiliary output are available.
Three Independently Regulated Outputs
Voltage and current are set and monitored separately for each channel. This makes the 3-channel bench power supply suitable for DUTs with different supply rails, such as logic voltage, analog supply, and power path. The A, B, and C variants provide setting and readback resolution of 1 mV and 1 mA.
Flexible Output Configuration
The outputs can be operated individually or connected in series or parallel for higher voltage or higher current. Track mode or synchronization mode couples selected channels proportionally. This allows symmetrical or stepped DC voltages to be adjusted conveniently.
Remote Sense for More Accurate Supply at the DUT
The remote sense function compensates for voltage drops across the connection leads. As a result, the voltage is regulated closer to the DUT, which is particularly beneficial for sensitive circuits, longer cables, or higher load currents.
Operation at the Test Bench and Integration Into ATE Systems
VFD display, illuminated function keys, adjustable cursor step sizes, and output switches support clear and traceable operation directly on the instrument. For PC-controlled test stations and automated test systems, USB, RS-232, Ethernet/LAN, or optional GPIB/IEEE488 are available depending on the model. The required interface should be checked before ordering.
Selecting the Right ITECH IT6300 Variant
The selection depends on the required voltage, current, and power, interface, and output configuration. Variants with 30 V main channels are suitable for typical electronics tests, while variants with 60 V main channels are intended for DUTs with higher supply voltages. The 5 V output can be used for logic, microcontrollers, peripherals, or auxiliary voltages.
Differentiation From Electronic Loads and Bidirectional DC Sources
The ITECH IT6300 Series is designed for the precise supply of DUTs with regulated DC voltage. When applications need to absorb energy, feed energy back, or deliberately discharge batteries, electronic loads or bidirectional DC sources are the more suitable solution.
Alternative Products
If the IT6300 Series does not exactly match the test setup, related solutions may be more suitable: the ITECH IT6700 digital-control DC power supply for compact single-output DC supply, the GW Instek SPD-3606 triple-output DC power supply for higher bench power, the ITECH IT-M3900B bidirectional regenerative DC source and load for source/sink operation, or the ITECH IT8500G+ DC electronic load for load, discharge, and sink testing.
