Multiple Output Programmable Linear DC Power Supply | GPD-Series

Product Information "Multiple Output Programmable Linear DC Power Supply | GPD-Series"

GW Instek GPD Series
Programmable Linear DC Laboratory Power Supplies with Multi-Channel Output
For Laboratory, Development, and Service Applications

Classification and Benefits for Test and Measurement
The GW Instek GPD Series includes programmable linear DC laboratory power supplies with multiple independently controlled outputs for laboratory, development, and service applications. Thanks to the linear design, these instruments are suitable for tasks that require a stable and low-noise DC supply. They support constant voltage and constant current operation (CV/CC) and power electronic circuits and assemblies in typical laboratory and service workflows. The series is not intended for high-power applications or safety-critical testing.

Operating Concept for Laboratory and Service Use
The digital front panel enables precise manual adjustment of output parameters. Multiple display elements support simultaneous monitoring of the outputs and simplify assessment of operating status. A key lock function prevents unintentional changes and supports safe operation in environments with multiple users.

Multi-Channel Operation and Tracking Functions
The instruments of the GPD Series provide multiple outputs that can be regulated and monitored independently. Depending on the model variant, tracking functions are available for joint adjustment of output values, for example to generate symmetrical supply voltages. The series is suitable for moderate multi-channel supply tasks in the laboratory, but not for dynamic load profiles, fast transients, or complex sequential test procedures.

PC Connectivity for Software-Based Test Processes
To support software-assisted workflows, the GPD Series features a USB interface for PC connectivity. This allows output parameters to be set and measurement values to be read, enabling integration of the power supply into laboratory and service-oriented test processes.

Typical Application Areas of the GPD Series
The GPD Series is suitable for applications that require multiple adjustable DC outputs in a linear design, such as electronics development, education and training, service, and general laboratory practice. Specialized power supplies are required for applications with highly dynamic load changes or fully automated production testing.

Check Suitability for Your Application
We will be pleased to assist you in selecting the appropriate GPD variant and integrating the power supply into your laboratory, development, or service workstation.
