Adjustment - Calibration
What does Adjustment mean?
An Adjustment - also known as calibration - is a corrective intervention.
Why is an adjustment necessary?
The adjustment is used to set the measured value of a measuring device to the value of a fixed reference.
(e.g. by comparison with a metrological standard, DIN 1319-1). An adjustment is usually preceded by a calibration. (See also calibration)
