What is ATEasy?

ATEasy is the product name of a software solution developed by Marvin Test Solutions.
It is an integrated platform primarily used in automated test systems (ATE – Automated Test Equipment). The software enables test automation for electronic devices through a powerful, user-friendly, and flexible development environment. With decades of industry use, broad interface compatibility, and modern development features, ATEasy is a well-established and future-proof tool for measurement and test engineering.

Here is an overview of the key features and application areas:

  • Rapid Application Development (RAD): ATEasy provides a development environment with visual tools such as an Application Wizard, just-in-time compiler, graphical forms, and code editor — all designed to help create, debug, and maintain test programs quickly.
  • Test Executive: A fully customizable interface for sequencing, executing, logging, and analyzing test results. It supports debugging, multi-user privileges, and simulation capabilities.
  • Open Architecture: Compatible with a wide range of interfaces and platforms, including GPIB, VXI, PCI/PXI, USB, LXI/TCP-IP, LabVIEW, .NET, ActiveX, IVI, DLLs, and more.
  • Simulation & Hardware Abstraction: ATEasy includes a hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and provides simulation for hardware and UUTs (Units Under Test), allowing test program development and verification without physical hardware.
  • Long-Term Support: In use since 1991 across various industries, ATEasy offers full backward compatibility and royalty-free runtime distribution (executable programs do not require licensing fees).
