Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) | Proteus Series

Product Information "Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) | Proteus Series"

Tabor Proteus Series
High-Performance Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG)
Up to: 9 GS/s, 16 Bit, 16 GS Memory, 12 Channels, 24 Markers

Innovation in Signal Generation
The innovative function generator of the Proteus Series from Tabor Electronics combines an arbitrary waveform generator and a transceiver in one platform.
Unlike a classic function generator that mainly produces standard waveforms such as sine, square, or triangle, the Proteus Series opens up almost unlimited possibilities: With up to 9 GS/s sampling rate, multi-gigahertz frequency ranges, and memory-intensive signals, it sets new benchmarks in high-frequency test and measurement.

Modular Scalability for any Application
Whether in a lab setup, production test, or complex test system, Proteus Series instruments adapt to your requirements.
Thanks to modular PXIe-based systems, multiple options, and flexible configuration, you can expand the instrument as needed—from compact single modules to large multi-channel solutions.
Interfaces such as Ethernet or SFP modules also make system integration straightforward.

Three Versions for Any Application
The Proteus function generator is available as a benchtop version with a touchscreen for convenient lab operation. As an option, the arbitrary waveform generator is offered as a desktop version without a front panel for space-saving, PC-controlled use, as well as a PXIe module that is ideal for signal processing in modular environments.
Matching accessories and application-specific software options provide maximum flexibility.

Precision & Signal Quality at the Highest Level
The innovative Proteus Series is designed for scenarios where precise synchronization and maximum signal purity are essential. Its architecture delivers stable and repeatable results, even with highly complex waveforms. This creates a reliable basis for accurate measurements and meaningful test reports.

Versatility for R&D
Whether in product development, the lab, or quality assurance, the Proteus function generator stands out with flexibility and scalability.
With powerful signal processing, wide bandwidth, high memory depth, precise resolution, and modern control software, the signal generators help engineers and technicians implement innovative projects efficiently.
The instruments are particularly suited for demanding applications that require precise frequency control across the entire frequency range—from communications engineering to quantum research.
