Compact and Ready to Use IT6800A/B Series

The IT6800A/B series includes compact, programmable DC power supplies/DC sources for development and production. They provide stable DC output with precise voltage regulation and reliably power automated processes—from the lab to series production in test systems. In many cases, they replace bench power supplies or switching power supplies and can also be used as laboratory power supplies in test & measurement.

Dual-Range for Maximum Flexibility IT6800A/B Series

The Dual-Range function enables fast switching between low and high voltage, current, and power ranges. This makes the DC source suitable for a wide range of tests—from battery simulations and defined current profiles (load profiles) to application-oriented functional tests with a DC reference—without changing devices and without additional cost.

For Automated Test Sequences IT6800A/B Series

With CV/CC control, the DC sources run characteristic curves reproducibly. The Output Timer shortens end-of-line tests and ensures consistent testing on products and systems. Recorded data and information simplify standards-compliant test procedures.

Interfaces & Integration IT6800A/B Series

The IT6800A/B series integrates seamlessly into test systems, test stands, and test setups. Standardized interfaces, such as a USB port, reduce integration effort and support ATE environments. Remote Sense, low ripple, and the monitor software deliver precise results. A low-ohmic, low-noise input with defined input impedance ensures stable measurement conditions. Accessories such as cables, adapters, sensors, and devices simplify installation—an advantage for test stand automation as well as service testing and measurement technology.

IT6800A Series vs. IT6800B Series: The Difference at a Glance

Both power supply variants offer the same performance and functionality. The key difference lies in the interfaces: IT68xxA comes standard with RS-232 and USB, while IT68xxB also includes GPIB (IEEE-488) as a factory option. As a rule of thumb, if RS-232/USB is sufficient, the IT6800A series units are the right choice. If you require GPIB or operate in a corresponding ATE environment, the IT6800B series units are the better fit.
