The powerful IT7900EP series regenerative grid simulator is based on advanced SiC technology and is an all-in-one test solution that can be used not only as a grid simulator and four-quadrant power amplifier, but also as a four-quadrant AC/DC regenerative electronic load. The four-quadrant operation and the ability to feed energy back into the grid increases environmental sustainability while reducing electricity and cooling costs. The compact, modular structure enables an output of up to 21 kVA in a 3U unit. The power can be expanded up to 1 MVA after master-slave parallel connection. The colour touch screen with intuitive GUI allows IT7900EP to define different waveforms. The various operating modes fulfil the test requirements of single-phase, three-phase, reverse-phase and offer a high flexibility for use in many fields such as PV, ESS and EV.
