ITECH IT6000D: High DC Power in a Compact 3U Form Factor
The ITECH IT6000D Series is a single-channel programmable DC power supply for 19" rack integration. Third-generation SiC technology enables a standalone unit to deliver up to 18 kW in 3U. When more power is required, the series can be scaled step by step into a combined high-power system.
Auto-Range Extends the Usable Output Range
With the Auto-Range output, the available power can be used across different combinations of voltage and current. The IT6000D can therefore supply more current at lower output voltages and correspondingly less current at higher voltages. According to ITECH, a single unit can cover the operating range of several conventional DC power supplies.
Higher Power Without Changing Control Behavior
Identical units can be linked in master-slave operation. Galvanically isolated fiber-optic communication synchronizes the units even during dynamic load changes. According to ITECH, functions and control behavior remain consistent with standalone operation; recalibration after paralleling is not required.
CC/CV Priority Determines Transient Response
CC/CV priority allows the control-loop behavior to be adapted to the specific test requirement. CV priority favors a fast voltage rise, while CC priority reduces current overshoot. This makes it possible to control not only the setpoint but also how the source responds to the DUT.
Remote Control and Data Logging in the Test System
The IT6000D records maximum, minimum and average voltage and current values and can store measurement data via USB. LAN, USB, CAN and digital I/O are integrated as standard; GPIB and RS232/analog interfaces are available as options. SCPI and the integrated web server support remote control and integration into existing test systems.
