Benchtop RF Signal Generators up to 12 GHz

Tabor Lucid-B: Analog RF Signal Generators with up to Four Coupled RF Outputs

The Tabor Lucid- B-Series comprises compact analog RF signal generators for CW and modulated test signals. The benchtop models are available for 3, 6, or 12 GHz with one, two, or four independently adjustable RF outputs that can be phase-coherently coupled. They are suitable for research and development, RF test systems, and production testing.

Low Phase Noise for Stable RF Test Signals

Low phase noise, high signal integrity, and fast frequency switching provide precise stimulus signals for measurement, analysis, and verification tasks. The Lucid B-Series generates unmodulated CW signals and modulated RF signals for telecommunications, aerospace, defense, and RF applications.

AM, FM, PM, Pulse, Pattern, and Sweep Modulation

The instruments support AM, FM, PM, pulse, pattern, and sweep modulation. Reference inputs and outputs couple multiple channels and enable precise multichannel tests with a stable phase relationship in distributed measurement and test systems.

Remote Control and Test Integration via LAN, USB, and SCPI

Operation is performed directly on the instrument or through the control software. LAN, USB, and SCPI integrate the instruments into controlled test sequences. Python, MATLAB, and LabVIEW support defined configuration of frequency, level, phase, and modulation.

Multichannel RF Signal Source for Laboratory and Production

The 19-inch, 2U benchtop enclosure with a 5-inch touchscreen combines high channel density with a compact footprint. Up to four coupled outputs simplify test setups and reduce integration effort.
The Tabor Lucid-B-Series is suitable as a flexible RF signal source for laboratory, development, and production environments.

Alternative Products

For particularly compact single-channel setups, the Tabor Lucid-D RF Signal Generator is a suitable choice. When a portable, battery-powered RF signal source is required, consider the Tabor Lucid-P Series. For rack-based test systems with up to 16 channels, the Tabor Lucid-R Series for 19-Inch Rack Mounting is recommended.
