ITECH IT6900A: DC Power Supply for Laboratory and Automated Testing
The ITECH IT6900A Series supplies devices under test (DUTs) with different voltages and currents without requiring multiple power supplies. Thanks to autoranging, the available output power can be used across a wide operating range: The DC power supply delivers higher voltages at lower currents or higher currents at lower voltages. This is particularly relevant when testing DC/DC converters, sensors, and battery charging circuits.
For recurring tests, voltage and current sequences can be programmed, saved, and recalled using the LIST function. The power supply can be remotely controlled from an automated test system via RS232 or USB using SCPI commands. The timer function allows the output to switch off automatically after a specified period.
Remote sensing regulates the voltage directly at the DUT, compensating for voltage drops between the power supply and the DUT. Low ripple and noise help maintain a stable DC output. For additional measurements, the integrated digital voltmeter can measure external DC voltages.
