The G6000 Series is a four-quadrant, bidirectional AC/DC power supply offering high precision, high power density, and excellent dynamic performance. It operates as a programmable AC/DC source or as an electronic AC load, making it ideal for professional test and measurement applications on grid-connected devices, power electronics, and energy systems.
Programmable power source with advanced grid simulation
In source mode, all three phases can be controlled independently. Functions such as LIST, PULSE, and STEP enable targeted simulation of grid voltage and frequency deviations. In addition, waveform editing as well as harmonic and interharmonic modes support realistic emulation of disturbed grid conditions. This allows reliable execution of grid compliance tests and grid compatibility tests on devices under test.
Electronic AC load with bidirectional energy regeneration
In load mode, the G6000 Series providesan integrated AC Source-Load System for realistic simulation of various load profiles. Bidirectional operation enables regenerative feedback of absorbed energy back into the supply grid. This allows devices under test to be evaluated under real operating conditions and supports the implementation of energy-efficient test systems for modern energy and power electronics.
