ITECH IT-M3900C: DC Source and Regenerative Load for Dynamic Testing
The ITECH IT-M3900C Series combines a bidirectional DC power supply with a regenerative electronic DC load. Depending on the model, the series provides up to 1,500 V, a current range of up to +1,020 A / -720 A, and up to ±12 kW. The wide-range output enables different voltage and current combinations with a single instrument.
The IT-M3900C supplies and loads DUTs with seamless switching between source and sink operation, reducing voltage and current overshoot. Up to 95% of the absorbed power is fed back into the grid. CV/CC priority, adjustable output impedance, and up to 10 million points for dynamic test curves support reproducible battery, DC-DC, and automotive testing.
Battery models can be defined using voltage, capacity, internal resistance, and state of charge. Depending on the model and software, the series also supports PV simulation, fuel cell simulation, and master-slave parallel operation for higher system power.

For bidirectional DC testing with lower power requirements, the ITECH IT-M3400 Series is suitable. For higher system power, the ITECH IT6000C Series and the ITECH IT6600C Series are available as regenerative bidirectional DC power supplies.
