IEEE-48

What is an IEEE-48?

IEEE-48 is an interface specification for a parallel bus interface, primarily used for control and data communication between instruments, computers, and other devices. Also known by names such as GPIB (General Purpose Interface Bus) and HP-IP, it enables the connection of multiple devices via a common bus line, typically in a star or daisy-chain configuration.
