ITECH IT8700: Dynamic Load Testing for Power Supplies and DC/DC Converters
The ITECH IT8700 Series combines modular electronic DC loads with centralized control for multi-channel test setups. It is designed for testing AC/DC power supplies, DC/DC converters, and other DC devices under test. One mainframe controls up to 8 channels; an expansion mainframe extends the system to up to 16 channels.
For dynamic load testing, the IT8700 generates defined load changes and programmable load profiles. Dynamic operation up to 25 kHz enables evaluation of power supply behavior under changing load conditions. LIST and Auto Test functions support repeatable test sequences in development and production.
The parallel system architecture controls multiple load modules synchronously and provides their measurement data in real time. During dynamic testing, peak voltage and current values can be measured directly without requiring a separate oscilloscope for this measurement. With the IT8722 and IT8722B dual-channel modules, the available power can be dynamically distributed between both channels. Integrated system connectivity supports integration into test benches and automated test equipment (ATE).
