ITECH IT-M3300: Regenerative DC Load in a Compact 1U Form Factor
The ITECH IT-M3300 Series is a regenerative electronic DC load for testing power supplies, power electronics, and electronic assemblies. Instead of dissipating most of the absorbed energy as heat, it feeds up to 90% of the power back into the grid. This reduces heat loss and cooling requirements and makes the series particularly suitable for endurance, burn-in, and production testing.
Depending on the model, the series provides input voltage ranges of 60 V, 150 V, 300 V, or 600 V, currents of up to 30 A, and load power levels of 200 W, 400 W, or 800 W. CC, CV, CP, CR, and four combined operating modes enable the simulation of different load characteristics. LIST functions and adjustable current rise and fall times support dynamic and reproducible test sequences.
The compact 1U half-rack design is suitable for modular multi-channel systems. Up to 256 channels can be controlled synchronously and proportionally tracked. Individual units can be operated independently, while a 37U cabinet can accommodate up to 64 channels. Typical applications include battery discharge testing, multi-channel power supply testing, and burn-in testing of semiconductors, relays, and wiring harnesses. OCP, UCP, OVP, UVP, OPP, Foldback, grid fault protection, and Sense fault protection support safe test sequences.
