Regenerative grid simulator for real-world grid applications
The ITECH IT7900H Series is a regenerative, programmable four-quadrant grid simulator that can also be used as a power amplifier for testing all types of grid-connected products. With energy-saving regeneration, the units support a wide range of applications.
Examples include PCS, energy storage systems, microgrids, BOBC (V2X), and power hardware-in-the-loop simulation (PHiL).
High power for realistic grid simulation
The ITECH IT7900H Series offers two variants with 700 V L-N (1200 V L-L) or 1050 V L-N (1818 V L-L). Power can be expanded up to 900 kVA via parallel operation.
In addition to a touchscreen with a clear UI, the series provides arbitrary waveform editing functions to simulate a wide range of grid disturbances.
Alternative Products
If you do not require the high-voltage version with up to 1050 V L-N / 1818 V L-L, we recommend the ITECH IT7900P as a more compact alternative for regenerative grid simulation, AC/DC source, AC/DC load and PHiL applications up to 350 V and 165 kVA. If you are looking for a powerful 350 V platform with high scalability, the ITECH IT7900EP is the right alternative: less high-voltage capability than the IT7900H, but with SiC technology, high power density and parallel operation up to 1 MVA.
