Digital Power Meter for AC/DC Power Analysis

ITECH IT9121: Measuring Power Consumption and Energy Use

The ITECH IT9121 is a digital power meter for AC/DC measurements on power supplies, motors, UPS systems, household appliances, and electrical loads.
It captures voltage, current, active power, reactive power, apparent power, power factor, frequency, and phase angle in single-phase two-wire measurements.

Measurement Range, Bandwidth, and Standby Consumption

The ITECH IT9121 measures up to 600 Vrms and 20 Arms, operates with 100 kHz bandwidth, and achieves 0.1% accuracy for voltage and current. The 5 mA current range supports measurements of small load currents, for example in standby consumption, ENERGY STAR tests, and no-load power consumption.

Harmonics, Waveform, and Energy over Time

Harmonic Mode analyzes harmonics up to the 50th order, including THD (Total Harmonic Distortion). The oscilloscope display shows voltage and current waveforms directly on the instrument, making trends and signal changes visible without a separate oscilloscope.
Integration functions capture current and active power over time, for example for energy consumption, energy import, and feed-in.

Display, Data Logging, and Test Bench Integration

The 4.3-inch TFT display shows one, four, or twelve measured values simultaneously; display parameters and sequence can be adapted to the measurement task.
USB, RS232, and LAN integrate the power meter into test benches and ATE systems; measurement data can be saved using PC software. GPIB is optional.

Instrument Class and Scope

The ITECH IT9121 measures power and energy on single-phase AC/DC DUTs. Power sources, electronic loads, electrical safety testing, and multi-channel power analysis require a different instrument class.

Alternative Products

If the test task focuses on single-phase AC power measurements, the GW Instek GPM-8213 is a suitable alternative. For single-phase AC power measurements with extended interfaces, consider the GW Instek GPM-8310. If multiple DC channels, source/load modules, or modular power analysis are required, the ITECH IT2705 is the better fit.
