Product information "High Performance Compact Power Analyzer | PPA-500 series"
Newtons4th (N4L) PPA500 Series
Compact Power Analyzer
1-3 Phase, 20/30 A Input Current, Bandwidth DC~500 kHz
Accurate Power Analysis at Attractive Cost
The PPA500 Series from Newtons4th (N4L) extends the proven family of power analyzers with a compact solution for precise power analysis.
Developed for demanding applications in electrical measurement technology, it enables accurate measurement of current, voltage and power – including power factor – while keeping costs attractive. This makes the series ideal for diverse applications in research, education, production and industrial systems.
User-Friendly Design with Full-Color TFT
The PPA500 features a high-resolution full-color TFT display that takes flexibility and ease of use to a new level – without compromising measurement performance. Current, voltage and power are displayed clearly, intuitively and in detail. The integrated software simplifies working with different measurement ranges and ensures seamless analysis of all measured values.
User-Friendly and Powerful
Thanks to technologies from the PPA1500 Series, this 3-phase power analyzer delivers an accuracy previously found only in significantly more expensive instruments. For daily use this means: precise measurement, reliable analysis and maximum efficiency.
Compact and Flexibly Integrable
With a half-rack width (½ 19″) and 2U height, the power analyzer can be used in a space-saving way or easily integrated into a rack. Especially for installation in complex systems it is ideally suited. Available in 1-, 2- or 3-phase versions and expandable to six phases, it offers the flexibility required for demanding test environments and a wide range of products.
Innovative Measurement Technology for Maximum Accuracy
The planar shunt technology developed by N4L enables highly accurate readings for current and voltage. In combination with FPGA-based real-time analysis (“No-Gap Analysis”), continuous data without gaps is guaranteed. This provides a reliable basis for power analysis and measurement – even in sensitive measurement ranges.
Ideal for System Integration
The PPA500 Series has been consistently designed for system integration. Whether in test stands, production lines or research laboratories – the multi-channel power analyzer can be easily integrated into existing systems thanks to direct current transformer connection and versatile interfaces. The integrated software provides simple documentation and smooth workflows. This gives users a powerful tool that combines flexibility, precision and efficiency.
This combination of powerful software, practical functions and high accuracy makes the PPA500 Series a future-proof choice.
Calibration & Certification
All PPA500 devices are supplied as standard with a UKAS ISO17025 certificate.
Calibration is carried out directly in N4L’s accredited ISO17025 laboratory in the UK, ensuring traceability and reliability of measurement results.
