Modular Multichannel Test System for DC Sources, Loads, and SMUs
The ITECH IT2700 Series consists of a mainframe and separately ordered function modules. Depending on the module configuration, each channel operates as a programmable DC source, bidirectional source/sink, regenerative electronic load, or SMU. Without modules, the mainframe provides neither DC outputs nor load channels.
ITECH IT2700: Testing Multiple Power Rails
Depending on the mainframe, six or eight slots are available; a 500 W module occupies two slots. The channels can be switched individually, sequenced, synchronized, or grouped. This allows multiple power rails on a PCB, as well as the input and output of a DC/DC converter, to be tested within a single sequence. Identical source and load modules can be connected in series or parallel, depending on the configuration.
Running Test Profiles and Capturing Responses
List sequences, arbitrary waveforms, sweeps, and load transients reproduce startup events, load changes, and defined voltage and current profiles. Bidirectional modules support battery testing and battery simulation. PV2700 displays, controls, and logs up to eight channels; voltage and current are captured at up to 200 kHz with 600 kpts of memory.
Selecting the Mainframe and Modules
LAN, USB, CAN, digital I/O, SCPI, and Modbus connect the system to development benches and ATE systems. Key configuration criteria are the number of slots, front-panel control, supported module types, and the required voltage, current, and power ranges. The IT2704 accepts load modules only; SMU modules require the IT2702 or IT2705. Modules are not included with the mainframe.
Alternative Products
If a modular multichannel setup is not required, the ITECH IT-M3400 is a compact bidirectional DC power supply rated up to 800 W. For two isolated DC outputs without load or SMU functionality, consider the ITECH IT-M3100D.
