Modular Multi-Channel Power System for Flexible DC Testing
ITECH IT2700: Modular Combination of DC Source, Electronic Load and SMU
The ITECH IT2700 Series is a modular multi-channel power system consisting of a mainframe and separately ordered function modules. Depending on the configuration, each channel operates as a programmable DC power supply, bidirectional DC source/sink, regenerative DC electronic load or Source Measure Unit (SMU).
Testing Multiple Power Rails and DC/DC Converters
Depending on the mainframe, six or eight slots are available; a 500 W module occupies two slots. Channels can be switched individually, sequenced, synchronized or grouped. This allows multiple power rails on a PCB as well as the input and output of a DC/DC converter to be tested within a single test sequence. Identical modules can be connected in series or parallel, depending on the configuration.
Dynamic Test Profiles and Battery Simulation
LIST sequences, arbitrary waveforms, sweeps and load transients simulate power-up events, load changes and defined voltage and current profiles. Bidirectional modules support battery testing and battery simulation. For the 1U mainframes, PV2700 provides an oscilloscope function with up to 200 kHz and 600 kpts; data logging operates at up to 50 kHz.
Selecting Mainframes, Modules and Interfaces
LAN, USB, CAN and digital I/O connect the system to development workstations and automated test equipment (ATE); SCPI and Modbus support remote control. Key configuration criteria include the number of slots, front-panel operation, supported module types, and voltage, current and power ranges. The IT2704 supports regenerative load modules only; the IT27814 and IT27814E SMU modules are designed for the IT2702 and IT2705. Function modules are selected and ordered separately.
Alternative Products
If a modular multi-channel configuration is not required, the ITECH IT-M3400 bidirectional DC power supply provides up to 800 W. For two galvanically isolated DC outputs without load or SMU functionality, the ITECH IT-M3100D dual-channel DC power supply is a suitable alternative.

Supplier
LXinstruments has been supplying ITECH equipment since 2020. When an individual instrument needs to become part of a complete test system, we support you with product selection, system sizing and integration into the automation environment. The key is to ensure that the DUT, power requirements, interfaces and test sequence work together.
We also use ITECH equipment in customized test systems. Depending on the test application, we combine power supplies, electronic loads, grid simulation and measurement technology so that the functions match both the DUT and the test sequence.
