Power supplies / sources

A measurement task always requires a highly accurate power supply or source to supply the product with an adjustable voltage and to measure the required current consumption.
The power supply can be provided by simple controllable DC laboratory power supplies such as a programmable GW Instek Power Supply with only 0..12 V or by large multi-channel Magna-Power devices with several kV.
The devices differ among others in

  • Configurable value of power, voltage and current
  • AC or DC
  • Number of possible phases

Using the filter function of the store website you can find the suitable device type by selecting the required features.

Current distributions

When setting up your measuring system with several measuring devices, you will not be able to avoid a safe and fused basic power supply for the system. Our so called PDU (Power Distribution Unit) from LXinstruments is an ideal solution which is available in different configuration levels.
The actual main function of the power distribution unit is to distribute the power supply (IN) via an internal fuse to the measuring instruments in the test system (OUT). The PDU has a standard 19-inch design and can be easily installed in a rack. All of them have an emergency stop control according to Performance Level "D" regulated in EN ISO 13849-1. Via a main switch on the front of the PDU, the voltage can be disconnected quickly and the entire system can be switched off completely, depending on the configuration.- Single-phase or three-phase version

  • Service socket possible at the front
  • 12 V and 24 V DC output at the rear can be selected as an option

Electronic loads / sinks

If your measurement setup outputs current, it can be loaded and absorbed in a current sink. Our devices from APM Technologies, GW Instek, ITECH, Magna-Power Electronics or Maynuo are ideal for this.

Devices programmable via SCPI can be controlled automatically and their measurements subsequently checked in our database evaluation software Magpie. For this purpose, it is necessary that a so-called test plan, which contains the required commands for device control, has been executed in TSCOE.
