Regulated AC Power Supply for Laboratory, Production, and ATE
The ITECH IT7300 Series is a programmable AC source for laboratories, production, and ATE. As a programmable AC power supply, it uses linear amplifier technology to deliver a low-noise, stable output voltage with fast response. DUTs are supplied with AC voltage, frequency, phase angle, and disturbance profiles.
Simulating AC Mains Disturbances with STEP, PULSE, and LIST
For tests on power supplies, LED drivers, lighting, motors, rectifiers, and assemblies, the IT7300 Series simulates AC mains conditions and mains disturbances. Frequency and phase angle are adjustable from 45 Hz to 500 Hz and 0 to 360°, respectively.
STEP, PULSE, and LIST functions reproduce voltage dips, short interruptions, voltage changes, as well as surge and trap waveforms.
TRIAC Dimmer Simulation for Lighting and Motor Applications
The integrated TRIAC dimmer simulation supports application-oriented tests on dimmable lamps, lighting technology, and simple AC motor applications. This makes it possible to evaluate how DUTs respond to leading-edge or trailing-edge phase control.
AC Power Measurement and Three-Phase Test Setups
The AC power meter measures RMS values, power data, frequency, power factor, apparent power, and peak current directly on the device. Depending on the version, the IT7300 Series covers AC tests from 750 VA to 9000 VA.
For three-phase test setups, three sources are synchronized via the system bus; two slaves follow the master source with a 120° phase shift.
Interfaces and Protection Functions
For automated test systems, RS-232, USB, and LAN with SCPI support are available; GPIB availability must be checked. OCP, OVP, OTP, and OPP protect against overcurrent, overvoltage, overtemperature, and overpower.
Alternative Products
If a smaller linear AC source is sufficient for AC testing, the GW Instek APS-7000E Series is a suitable alternative. For regenerative grid simulation, bidirectional AC testing, or higher power ranges, the ITECH IT7900 Grid Simulator, the Kewell G6000 Series, or the Kewell G9000 Series may be suitable, depending on the test scope.
