CR-LED (Constant Resistance – LED Test Mode)

What is CR-LED and why is it needed?

CR-LED (Constant Resistance – LED Test Mode) is a special operating mode of electronic loads developed for testing LEDs and LED power supplies. Unlike conventional test methods, the CR-LED mode simulates the non-linear resistance of an LED and therefore ensures realistic operating conditions.
This function enables:

  • Accurate testing of LED drivers under real-world load conditions
  • Stable and reproducible measurement results for light sources
